Cornerstone Method of Child Birth Education
This class is designed to be completed before week 35 and with a birthing partner. Unravel the mystery and fear surrounding birth, learn about your options and rights, and map out your birth. Get informed, empowered and prepared! We will use our senses (touch, taste, smell, sight, sound and JOY) as a jumping off point to learn everything from physiology of birth, to nutrition, birth plans, breathing techniques, birthing positions, and tools to help you find evidence based information. We will learn how to ask the difficult questions of care providers, and how be an active and engaged participant in birth. This class is appropriate for anyone and EVERYONE who is pregnant!
Prenatal Yoga for Birth Prep
We will use ancient yogic practices as a jumping off point to discover how to prepare mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually for birth. Learn postures to alleviate common discomforts of pregnancy, breathing techniques, yoga for pelvic floor health (to prepare for birth and to heal from birth), visualization, mantra and affirmations as tools for birth. This class is different than a public prenatal yoga class, allowing us to go much deeper in these practices with birth as a central focus. Learn just how powerful yoga is as birth prep!
Prenatal Yoga for Partners
Bring your partner to yoga! Together learn the power of breath, relaxation, visualizations, meditations, supported birth positions and partner massage techniques - all as preparation for birth.
Private Birth Classes for Partners
Spend quality time learning & preparing for birth with your partner in a private setting. Learn birth positions, breathing techniques, massage techniques, basic anatomy and stages of labor & birth. Come with any questions you have and receive individual attention and a session tailored just for you!
